هو معلِّمُ لاهوتٍ في نيوزيلاندا، مهتمٌّ ببدائل العدالة المجتمعيَّة. انصبَّ تركيزُه على دَمْج وجهات النظر اللاهوتيَّة ونظريَّة العدالة الجنائيَّة في مؤلَّفه الذي نالَ تقديرًا دوليًّا. أسهمَ المؤلِّفُ بصورةٍ كبيرةٍ بتطوِّعهِ في تطوير ممارسات العدالة التأهيليَّة في نيوزيلاندا. في 2004م، نالَ جائزةَ المجتمع الدوليِّ لإسهاماته في موضوع العدل.
